Approx 34 hours a week to include Saturdays. Reasonably flexible on days. Yard hours are 7.30-12.30 and 1-5 pm so hours can be made up of a mixture of both or full days. Come and join our friendly team at Lower Farm General Yard routine: feeding/haying/watering. Mucking out/ bedding down/sweeping. Rugging up/ turning out/ bringing in. Grooming/ bathing/tack cleaning. FOD has 2 in-house FEI Professionals that are developing elite dressage performance horses and working with select clientele to further develop their skills. Backed and trained multiple horses and ponies, sold on to competing yards. Multiple National Title winner-Showjumping, Eventing, Dressage (Current-Advanced level). Running own yard with 35 horses & ride/train 6-9 horses per day min.
Running of our own busy equestrian yard - with 38 horses and ponies, that must be kept fit and sound. Overseeing 5 grooms and ensuring their day to day duties are abide by. Fitness programme for ponies and horses, Ensuring medication and supplements are dispensed. Going to shows and assisting clients as well as competing myself.
