We offer a responsible job for a Professional Groom and Ranch Hand. Would you like to take charge of the welfare of our 10 Arabian horses? Several kinds of tasks will wait for you: Horse care, feeding, treatment of injuries and wounds, taking the horses out to the pastures, stable work and doing some repairs around the horse areas. Some manual dexterity is wished-for. Helping people to improve their skills in horse handling, grooming and saddling. As we also run a cattery it's important that you love cats because this is another part of the job. Interest in long-term employment is welcome.
Requirements
Flexibility, creativity, willingness to learn, care / accuracy, reliability, attention. A lot of horse-experience is required for beeing capable of taking on responsibility. Principal requirements for this job are interest in Western Riding and best references of previous employers about all works at horse yards. Furthermore we expect a conception of tidiness and a great work ethic! Some knowledge of German would be great.

We run a Western Training stable for Arabian horses in Switzerland as well as a cattery or rather a cat hotel.
Embedded in Thurgau's most beautiful riding area, the Grubhof offers riding art and horsemanship at its best. The high sensitivity of the Arab as well as his human-related nature and his athletic prerequisites require appropriate handling and a training concept that takes this extraordinary breed into account.
The second branch of business is our cat hotel, which runs very well, especially during the holiday season.
