Job Description
Responsible person needed to help with all aspects of running a farm. Duties will include feeding, mucking, lite maint., training horses, and whatever else needs to be done. Supervising of volunteers and students, some farm sitting (including babysitting my 2 dogs). We train the Flat-Shod Gaited breeds (Tenn. Walkers, etc.) for trail/show. Also Hunter and Dressage. Gaited experience is not required. Lots of trail riding. Some Showing possible. If you meet our weight limit of 165 lbs and have your own vehicle, you are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
Must have experience with training horses including starting under saddle. Hunter experience and at least some dressage preferred. Customer relations experience and riding lessons.

Riding; Driving license; Equine First-Aid; Handling Youngstock; Schooling; Teaching; Sole Charge; Starting/Breaking; Natural Horsemanship.

Accommodation
You will be provided with a furnished bedroom in the house on the farm. Full house privileges, most meals provided. Sharing the house with Owner and working student. Sorry, no house pets.

The Facility
Boarding and training facility specializing in the sound, flat-shod gaited breeds such as Tennessee Walkers, Racking Horses, Spotted Saddle Horses, etc. The farm sits on 69 acres and typically has 30-40 horses on premises. Most of the training is for trail horses with some for show.
