Job Description
Responsible person needed to help with all aspects of running a farm. Duties will include feeding, mucking, lite maint., training horses, and whatever else needs to be done. Supervising of volunteers and students, some farm sitting (including "babysitting" my 2 dogs). We train the Flat-Shod Gaited breeds (Tenn. Walkers, etc.) for trail/show. Gaited experience is not required. Lots of trail riding. Some Showing likely. If you meet our weight limit of 170 lbs and have your own vehicle, you are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
Must have some experience with training horses including starting. Customer relations experience and riding lessons.

Accommodation
You will be provided with a furnished bedroom in the house on the farm. Full house privileges, most meals provided. Sharing the house with Owner and one other full time employee. Sorry, no house pets.

The Facility
Boarding and training facility specializing in the sound, flat-shod gaited breeds such as Tennessee Walkers, Racking Horses, Spotted Saddle Horses, etc. The farm sits on 69 acres and typically has 30-40 horses on premises. Most of the training is for trail horses with some for show.
