Job Description
The ideal person is experienced with H/J's; grooming, riding, showing, show grooming, clipping, bathing, feeding, turnout, general barn housekeeping, etc. I'm looking for someone that can basically do it all but most of all ENJOYS doing it. Must be responsible, trustworthy and can work independently with great time management skills, displays a soft hand with the horses and a caring personality. We are a small private barn with minimal traffic so the majority of time is spent with the horses.
Requirements
Minimum age 20 yrs. old to apply and must commit to a 1 yr. internship. Must have a teamwork attitude, have a strong attention to detail, dependable, responsible, honest/trustworty and be self motivated. Must also have a strong work ethic and have a true love of the horses. No smoking, drugs or drinking. Duties include: feeding, turnouts, riding, barn housekeeping, lunging, grooming, show grooming, clipping and daily care and mangement. Ideally would like someone looking to grow.

Accommodation
You will have your own room and bathroom and will share a kitchen. It includes utilities, cable and internet service.
Benefits
We provide room with utilities, cable and internet, free board if you have a horse, training and some showing in addition to a $100 weekly stipen.
The Facility
Happy's Dream Ranch is a private full service training and show barn. In addition, we provide services for retirement horses, re-hab and layup horses.Our facility sits on 36 acres of beautiful rolling meadows surrounded by a great view of the Arizona mountains. Our main barn has 12 stalls, 2 tack rooms, 2 grooming stalls, hot water wash stall and a fly spray system. The new barn has 8 stalls, 1 tack room and 2 grooming stalls as well. We have 6 large and 2 small grass pastures in the summers with a current total of 12 pastures and 3 additional ones under construction.
