Job Description
Animal training and staffing for live animal shows. Candidates will be trained and will have the opportunity to learn training techniques, dressage, free style and entertainment styles. Training includes all phases of horse care, stall cleaning, maintenance, record keeping, lunging, long lining, riding and an oppoortunity to appear in a live theatre horse production. Plus we offer an interactive tourism entity devoted to the concept of celebrating the bond between man and animals. Situated on a 40-acre Arabian breeding farm, with meadows, deep woods and beautifully landscaped grounds. Volunteer interns are not salaried, however we do offer on-site housing, and a $50.00 stipend, a week, internship. Minimum of a 5 month commitment. Positions available Sept 2010- Feb. 2011
Requirements
Eager individual that wants to learn the unique experience in performing in a one of a kind Equine performance dinner theatre. September til Feb. 2011 possible job offer after internship.

The Facility
Internship includes all phases of horse care, stall cleaning, maintenance, record keeping, lunging, long lining, riding and an opportunity to appear in a live theatre horse production. Work and learn alongside professional horse trainers. Gain experience in dressage, free style and theatrical entertainment styles. The Dancing Horses Theatre is a unique state-of-the-art entainment venue. Daily performances starting in Sept. 2010. Along with our performing horses we are home to more than 40 horses, and other exotic animals. Sitting on 40 acres of pasture and woods; located in a tourist area in Wisconsin near the Illinois border.
