I am looking for an experienced couple to take care of the house, help with the horses and take care of the farm. Duties include feed, shelters, handling youngsters, house cleaning, ironing and baby sitting,
Farm maintenance duties include general labouring , fixing fences and farm chores. Must be able to drive a tractor as hay making is also part of the job. Previous farm experience is essential as using heavy equipment is required.
Please only apply if you have a work permit or can independently get one. You will be unable to use the position at the farm to apply for one.

Requirements

No smoking and no drugs.
The farm worker must be happy with driving a tractor and general maintenance such as fixing fences, building shelters, etc. Must be able to work unsupervised
Housekeeper must have horse experience as will often have sole charge(when show groom away)
Please confirm that you are able to work in Canada before applying. Applying for a visa now would take too long. You will be unable to use the position at the farm to apply for a visa.

Accommodation

Accommodation in a suite is provided. The suite is shared with the show groom,and comprises of 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, sitting room, bathroom and mud room.

The Facility

The barn is situated on 135 acres of beautiful countryside. There are currently 18 horses here including 4, 2 year olds and 3 weanlings.
There are 6 indoor stalls and a 100 x200 ft indoor arena. The local area has lots of great riding trails.
We specialise in importing top quality jumpers from Europe. We show extensively on the west coast of Canada and the States.
