Job Description
Calaza Park is looking for a person/couple who are already employed but looking for a fully furnished house, be willing to do property maintenance in exchange for cheap rent, plus have experience with horses.
Rent $1000.00/mth includes electricity and water
this is $230/wk for a house that could collect $500/wk plus electricity and water.
Jobs include: Grading of arena and round yard
- property to be mown and whippersnipped
- weed spraying
- general maintenance
- feeding, rugging and general horse care while owner is away or unable to be at the property.
Requirements
- Must be able to operate ride-on-mower etc
- Have knowledge of arena maintenance
- Have horse knowledge eg. general handling, needling of horses, experience with stallions, yearlings, identifying problems with a horse if owners are away
- Able to fix any basic property maintenance eg broken tap
- Owners travel away to shows so the applicant must be prepared to take over the feeding and caring for remaining horses
- Applicants must show references from previous landlords
Required Skills
Riding; Driving license; Drive Horsebox.

Accommodation
Three bedroom house one with ensuite, separate bathroom/toilet, lounge, dining, kitchen, laundry, shared double garage with other tenant, fully furnished, will need own washing machine. Shared use of rear deck and BBQ.

The Facility
Calaza Park is a boutique horse property located at Nudgee in Brisbane, mainly catering for showjumping horses.
At Calaza Park, we aim to continually breed and turn over young horses of star potential and impeccable breeding. We offer dressage and showjumping lessons, however adjistment is not available at this stage.
Our Showjumping team comprises of:
Space Cowboy, Skalato Dream, Elias C, Annibell, and DJ.
Piebelle is our broadmare and has recently given birth to a paint filly.
Our yearlings are Ellibell and Anikal.
