Duties of current occupation
I teach begginer riders in hunter/jumper up to riders jumping and competing in 2'3"
I have had up to 34 students at a time.
Equine work experience
I've been riding horses since the age of six. My first years were spend all on the flat. At eleven I started jumping and competing, although being a "poor person in a rich mans sport" I always had the greenies or the problem horse. But it taught be a lot about working hard for what you want.
When I graduated high school I attended Meredith Manor, went on to ride with the traveling Lipizzaner shows in 2006 & 2007, then moved back to my home state, WA, and started teaching hunter/jumper. I taught in WA state for three years until family brought me out to KY. I'm now looking to continue teaching out here.
Specialities
I specialize in teaching hunter/jumper to beginners up to students jumping and competing in 2'3" classes at rated shows.
I have also done work with the mentally challenged people who would like to ride horses and find this to be a very rewarding experience.
