Qualifications
I currently have my BHS AI and first 2 BET exams..I need to do my First aid again as it expired last year and complete my child protection course once i return home to Ireland then hope to be confident enough leaving Australia to get my BHS stage4, i've figured the more traveling and experience i have the better prepared i will be..I have plenty of experience with fit stallions,clipping foals ,auctions,assisiting vets and loading/travelling horses

Duties of current occupation
I am currently taking a short break with horses as i am coming to the end of my australian trip. I am still teaching part time as well as working in retail to try save up the money to travel.
Equine work experience
I completed a two year course in Horse Breeding and training in Kildalton college,Piltown,Co.Kilkenny.I chose to focus on training and breaking in my second year and gained alot of experience from that.
From there i went on to work as a student in Callaighstown riding centre in rathcoole,Dublin.I completed my BHS AI and the first 2 BET exams,after finishing my exams i continued workin for Grainne Sugars and was the leader of Irelands Wicklow trail ride for the season of 2008,I worked 3months in kildare international teaching and 3months in belmont equestrian also teaching while i was waiting for my USA visa .Once i got to NY I worked teaching and riding in Cedar Crest Farm in upstate NewYork for one year.I then moved to adelaide SA where i worked for eventer Wendy Schaeffer for 6months,competing,teaching,grooming at adelaide's 4*and taking care of all general yard duties.Then worked in centennial stables(sydney) for 8months teaching ,then finally 2months with AEA burong(melbourne)

I'm from Ireland currently living in sydney NSW.I think of myself as a fun motivated person who works very well alone or in a team. I have an incredible passion for working with horses and i need a busy organised barn with a good working routine where things get done. I have a great feel and overall understanding of how a horse works and how one should feel! soft, supple, relaxed and enjoying what he's being asked to do.I love teaching and get great satisfaction from it
Type of ride work
I am experienced schooling horses on the flat to a high level and over fences up to 1.10m,Unfortuneltly I have never owned my own horse so don't have much experience competing at a high level but have done countless schooling,riding club and unregistered shows to 1.10m. Also i have done alot of hunter trails and cross country competitions on young horses and love a challenge! riding the 4*horses in SA and train with australia's top coaches and compete in a number of events/dressage/SJ and clinic
Competition details
Competed at 3 low level events in SA, 2 with young horses and one on 4* koyuna sun magic after he had some time off.Many small shows and dressage days. I got training with gillian rolton,jamie coman,dirk dykstra and of coarse wendy schaeffer at clinics and private lessons. I groomed at 3* and 4* events having sole charge of horses under my care, I have alot of experience travelling with horses to shows,auctions and have excellent plaiting and grooming skills.I am dedicated and reliable
