Have been a trail guide at a Ranch in Mendocino, Ca, and a wrangler at a guest ranch here in Quincy, Ca. I was going to school at Feather River College, I have started now three horses and one mule. I took one of the colleges horse through their annual horse sale, she sold for $7000 and I started her from when she was a yearling. Have ridden english and western but am mostly western but am more than happy to ride english, but my knowledge is more limited. Have worked on a little reining and cutting at school, but have never done anything professionally. Am currently a trail guide at Mammoth Lakes Pack Outfit. Leading day rides and being head wrangler on some days. Have assisted with mares and foals, am patient in working with foals or young horses. Been their and helped with the birthing process. Have little experience with breeding. Have also driven a team of 3 draft horses and helped hitch up.
I can start colts from the ground up, good with people, can lead trail rides. Grooming, cleaning, done basic vet work, am responsible. Can do just a little of anything that has to do with horses.
Trail riding, arena, cows, starting, packing.
Did some small Gymkhana when I was younger. Also did 50 mile endurance races for about five years. Schooling shows over the last 3 years.
