I have been around ponies, horses and other animals from an early age, have looked after animals and intermittently ridden all sorts of ponies and horses – from Shetlands to Haflingers to Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds, with occasional instructions/lessons/clinics and some competitions.
My handling and riding skills are a mixture of classical education and self-taught, with experience working on yards in Germany and the UK.
I also have experience in open-stable environments, as well as handling Stallions and training youngsters. I practice in-hand and ridden work, as well as free-schooling and have a light hand with horses. My own horse is a 15y old PRE gelding, who I am rehabilitating and re-training; we like an active, healthy and varied lifestyle and will have a go at most things!
