Mucking out, basic grooming tasks, turning horses out and bringing them in, feeding and tacking up.
I have mostly worked at riding schools and livery yards around Dorset. I completed a two year course at Sparsholt College, where I was taught to carry out my duties to a professional standard. I have experience in mucking out stables and preparing fresh beds for horses, grooming, feeding, leading, exercising, cleaning tack and other associated equipment and keeping the yard tidy.
I enjoy all areas of horse care and stable management. I am calm under pressure, conscientious and reliable.
I have only three years of consistent riding experience. However, I am a calm and confident rider on the flat. I am capable of small jumps but I am looking to gain more experience in this area.
