Due to a change in circumstances I'm currently looking for a part time riding role, 4 mornings a week, but can be flexible. I have over 16 years experience within the industry and have produced horses from youngstock up to intermediate. I'm happy to work with all sorts, from happy hackers to fit competition horses. Quiet but firm rider, who can deal with quirks if necessary. Ideally within 30 mins of Newark but happy to travel up to an hour for the right place.

I am currently studying a T&D in Animal Health, mostly focused on horses. After I finished the Scientific Baccalaureate, I decided to do this T&D so as to earn more experience in horses' health, as I already have many years of experience in horse riding so I wanted to learn more about their world, and improve my knowledge in another area, which I think is giving me a lot of new skills. I have learned a lot about horses' injuries, doing ultrasounds, helping with recovering, drawing blood...
I started riding when I was 6 years old, and I haven't stopped since then, I have always known it is my true passion. I started taking basic lessons and then I fell in love with showjumping. I even trained my own dressage horse when i was 11 years old so that I could jump and compete with him.
2 years ago, when I worked at a stable, I realized how much love I have for this lifestyle and now I am surer than ever: I want to work as a rider, no matter what it costs. There is no place on Earth where I am happier than with horses
Also, last year i was lucky enough to work in Gestüt Lewitz and ride for Paul Schockemöhle for 8 months, and i had the opportunity to learn a lot of new things and ways to see this sport.
I haven't had many opportunities since it is not a cheap sport and I haven't always counted with my family support, but I have always tried my best.
Two years ago, I worked at a stables located in Girona. My principal job there was to train horses, so as to prepare them to compete. I have trained a lot of different horses: Mares, stallions, ponys, youngsters...
I also have done almost every equestrian discipline: I started with basic lessons, then I did dressage for some years and finally i fell in love with showjumping, and I have been practicing it since I was 9 years old. I have also done (occasionally) some horseball, raid, cross...
I have ridden a lot of different horses with a large variety of tempers. I would say I've had a lot of experiences with young horses, mostly showjumping. When a new horse arrived at my stables, I was the person in charge to train him, and I have always done a very good job. My favourite discipline and what i enjoy the most is however, showjumping, especially with young horses, so that I can feel their potential in the ring. I have also ridden mares, stallions, ponys...
Although I haven't had many opportunities to compete because of personal/family reasons, I have sometimes found the way to do so, all by myself. I have competed a few times in social events, with very good results. I know I have the ability to compete on a larger scale, but it is really hard to get there, and I don't have the economic facilities so as to get there. I am looking forward to receiving an opportunity from someone who believes in me, so that I can demonstrate my riding abilities.
