In November 2009 I arrived in Scotland for a year and started working as a horse groom. Thre were5 horses and 1 pony. Two Clydesdales, part Arabian (cross Welsh section D), Hannoverian cross and English Thoroughbred stallion. It was a small private yard and I was the only one working there. All stable duties and riding was my responsibility. Every second weekend I was left to a sole charge. At the moment I work as a horse groom on La Palma, Canary islands as described above.

I've been around horses since I was 12,when I started riding.Besides riding I would help with all general care.Later I became a member of a riding club with lessons every week.There were 15 horses and I was a member of team looking after the horses including all work around the yard. We helped with hay harvesting, maintenance, assisting by horseshoeing etc. Few years later I shared a horse with my friendn-all expenses, care and riding.I had training twice a week and took few unofficial dressage competitions.After one year I had to quit-it was too expensive to share a horse.Then I would ride private horses – together the four-3English Thoroughbreds(2 ex race)1 Oldkladruby horse (czech breed).Currently I am working as a horse groom/farm hand on La Palma,Canary islands.There are9 islandic ponies,14 hens,8cats and 2 dogs.The job includes all general care of animals including riding,work with the youngster,preparing horses for tourist rides.Help with vegetable garden, fruit trees etc.

always classic english riding, basic dressage training, a bit of jumping, a lot of experience from hacking

I´m not very competitive, but I´ve always liked to learn something new from a riding sport. Took a couple of unofficial dressage and jumping competitions
