I am happy with any yard work or exercising if required. I have brought on young horses and competed in county-level showing and up to novice level dressage with animals I have started from scratch. currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
Due to a change in circumstances I'm currently looking for a part time riding role, 4 mornings a week, but can be flexible. I have over 16 years experience within the industry and have produced horses from youngstock up to intermediate. I'm happy to work with all sorts, from happy hackers to fit competition horses. Quiet but firm rider, who can deal with quirks if necessary. Ideally within 30 mins of Newark but happy to travel up to an hour for the right place.
From Showjumping, to showing/eventing and foals through to stallions I have experience in all aspects of the equestrian world. I am looking for my next long term journey where I can spend my days working with the animals I love, and carry out my exceptionally high standards for the right person.
I have experience handling race horses as a hot walker for, now retired, McDonald Benson, both at Woodbine racetrack by Toronto, Ontario, and at Payson Park in Florida. I was in charge of taking care of Mr Benson's pony who had very bad feet.
I also have spent a few months in a private stable in Belgium (i grew up in France), mucking, feeding, tacking for the owners, cleaning tack, and riding. This is the place i once gave a shot to a horse, learned to lunge, pull and trim.
I spent 10 years riding from age 9. After this i stopped riding as i moved to England as an "Au Pair".
I took lessons to be able to teach children so I reached just below the instructor level ( FENICAT in Brittany France) in 2000. I can bandage, trim pull, ride and lunge.
I do not have a specialty per se. I have done some jumping and more dressage. I also have trained in one horse carriage pulling. My main riding experience is english riding, although I rode a little bit western.
