Requirements

5 1/2 day work. Only 1-2 hours of barn work per day, then riding, lunging, and grooming all day. Looking for that motivated, hard-working, and positive student who has the drive to learn all aspects of the business. We have fun while working hard, with great horses and people. Come improve your skills in a low-key yet professional and quality atmosphere. You would need to have competent riding skills with ability to advance. Must be comfortable on green horses and have experience showing in hunter/ jumper, dressage, or eventing. Looking for someone efficient, detail oriented, and horse savvy. Commitment of 6 months to one year.

Shared housing, gorgeous house in a lovely setting. Must be comfortable with dogs and cats. Dog and cat lovers a big plus!! No personal pets, we have enough.

Job Benefits

Large private room in shared house. Lots of riding for qualified individual (4-6 horses per day), with lessons on a variety of horses. Possibilities to compete. Pay is $300/ month stipend OR board for one horse (as well as trailering to shows and coaching at shows). The perfect situation for someone wanting to spend time concentrating on their riding skills and riding many different types and levels of horses. This position works best with some money saved or help from parents so you can focus on the horses without financial strain.

The Facility

12 Stall, 15 acre farm in the heart of horse country. Lovely barn, brand new oversize ring with top of the line footing, and roomy, nice house. Access to hundreds of miles of trails. Many shows nearby.
