Our organization is looking for an assistant trainer to help with pre-adoption gentling. Must be able to follow directions, work as a team player, and must not be fearful of horses. We are in a very remote location.
Able to follow directions without resistance. Intelligent. Calm demeanor. Team player.
Private room or dormitory space depending on rank. Comfortable common areas and group meals. We have a great cook!
Helping solve America's captive mustang problem.
We are dedicated to training and finding adopters for mustangs. We have strong fences and train with positive reinforcement. Please review our website carefully before applying. We train 8-24 mustangs a month. We have a few riding horses but all the wild horse training is groundwork. We provide room and board. All summer we have students and interns coming and going, so even though our facility is in the middle of a vast uninhabited area, we have a busy social life. You must be able to follow directions, write training reports and work with students.
I really was impressed with your program and videos, thank you! I truly feel that you and your staff offer a great service. Helping the world to see that common sense, patience, and dedication can save mustangs. Krilliana BirdwellKrill Birdwell 1/25/2011
