Looking to fill an opening starting June 2013. Please submit photos and/or video with application. This vacancy is ideal for someone who wants a close contact with horses. We need a dedicated, enthusiastic stable lad /lass to take care of our horses, who knows that its a hard job that never ends, and who will not be home sick after 2 weeks. Duties include stable work, mucking out stalls/corrals; feeding/handling/grooming horses; handling of foals/weanlings. Horses spend a majority of their time outside, so stall duties are very minimal. For the applicant with riding qualifications, there is the opportunity to ride. Prefer: Dressage to 2nd Level, Jumping to 1m. Must be self-starter and have good attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for a student with limited English wishing to improve his/her English language skills. It is a 6 day week. Also reviewing applications for Fall 2013.
