Due to the passing of Mrs. Tankersley the apprentice program is closed. However, Al-Marah Arabians is still offering work experience to interested candidates in the breeding or show barn programs. Housing is on the farm. Please contact us for more details. Currently looking to hire employees at the breeding barn and at the Sport Horse barn which is where the hunters are also trained. Experience offered is comparable to experience gained in former apprentice program but certificates can no longer be offered. Positions available now. At the moment we do not have housing available for male applicants. This is a privately owned farm and we do not take outside horses in training unless they were bred by Al-Marah. We do give lessons however.

  • Small Hunter Rider/Working Student

'Miami. Fantastic position for petite rider! Are you 5'3 or under. SMALL and "tough" enough to train pony hunters. Prefer someone who has shown while growing up in pony hunter divisions .This is a great position if you want to learn to become an Instructor/Trainer. Opportunity to learn with lessons from a TOP "A" Show Trainer. NOT a temporary position but a position with a possible ADVANCEMENT. Live-in. Regrettably no pets. Ambitious people only please!'
