  • Trek Leader/Yard Assistant

    WORK WITH HORSES IN THE SUN. To start as soon as possible. We have approx 20 horses, liveries, competition horses and horses for trekking with tourists in the most *spectacular countryside*. Staff work as a team doing all the general day at day work around the yard as well as taking out rides and schooling and competing . Must be competent rider. Live in or out.

This is a full time job looking after clients horses. We are seeking someone who is willing to commit to this industry and has an excellent work ethic. This is an opportunity for someone to work for Caron Roberts Equestrian as a trainee groom and work towards either furthering their BHS/NVQ exams or starting off in the horse industry. The yard is a busy one which specialises in breaking, breeding and competitions and as such you will gain a varied but essential experience for you horse career. As part of a team of 5 staff you will, with training, be responsible for the care of several horses. There is the opportunity for you to bring your own horse as well. The starting salary for this position is £95pw but more will be paid defendant upon BHS qualifications

The Facility

We run a competition/training yard and have liveries on site Two 60m x 40m outdoors schools one with floodlights, horse walker and lunge pen. Full set of show jumps inc jump for joy fillers and portable cross country fences, 10 loose boxes, 2 American barns with 17 boxes, wash down box, foaling box, rug room, restroom for livery owners and class room. CCTV cameras, ample parking.

  • Polo Groom Australia Required

    Polo groom required in Northern NSW for immediate (or as soon as possible) start. Will be working with head groom to look after and exercise up to 15 horses for polo and weekends at tournaments travelling all over Northern NSW. Also required to help oversee the rest of the stud's horses which includes the breeding season. Polo experience not required, but very experienced horse and riding skills are. Need to be fun and social but also hardworking and considerate, ready to give anything a go!
