Varied, all general yard duties, 6 day week, Working with young children, teaching them to groom tack up etc, escorting hacks, and working with young horses and ponies, breaking and schooling in preparation for use in the school and for sale. I feel the need to point out that we expect trainees to actually work, this is not a holiday!!

The Facility

We run a friendly relaxed yard with on average 50 ponies and horses, usually around 25 stabled, our yard is very varied, riding school geared mainly to teaching children but do welcome adult clients, pony club link centre so hold regular rallies and fun days. Holidays for children during school holidays. Breaking and schooling young ponies and horses ready for the school, sale or to jump. Pip showjumps internationally, so opportunity to gain experience working with competition horses. We have indoor and outdoorschools, mini x-country course and around 35 acres.
