  • Polo Groom Australia Required ASAP

    Polo groom required in Northern NSW for immediate (or as soon as possible) start. Will be working with head groom to look after and exercise up to 15 horses for polo and weekends at tournaments travelling all over Northern NSW. Also required to help oversee the rest of the stud's horses which includes the breeding season. Polo experience not required, but very experienced horse and riding skills are. Need to be fun and social but also hardworking and considerate, ready to give anything a go!

Get the best of both worlds: Train in Cornwall for 1 /2 or 3 weeks on a rotation, xc, s/j, dress, and SM, some competing if good enough, looking after eventers and family yard, then go to my Equestrian Centre in Glos to train to teach and work on a busy livery yard and equestrian centre with my senior staff. OR stay in Glos permanently if desired. This is a working pupil position that requires an enthusiastic trainee that is fit and capable and would like to gain experience and qualifications without having to pay expensive fees. A lot of riding is involved and you will receive daily training, good conditions and accom and a training wage. Great Job for the right person that is prepared to give 100%, as you'll get 110% back. 100% pass rate in 2012/13 for BHSAI Immediate Start, max 11 stone please.

Requirements

YOU MUST WANT TO WORK WITH HORSES. You must be able to follow instructions and maintain the set standards. You must have experience already and be able to walk trot and canter with an idea of working horses in the correct form. You must be able to jump at least 75cms. Must want to gain experience. Must be fit and healthy in order to benefit from this position. SINGLE FEMALE ACCOMMODATION ONLY. No pets, or smokers. This is a training position but BHS stages 1 and 2 would be an advantage. A happy team awaits. UK applicants take priority so please don't let me down UK! Must be over 18. Sorry under 11 stone in weight only.
