Role includes all normal yard duties plus riding - lungeing, schooling, hacking out, fast work, jumping as well as plaiting & clipping. 5 - 5.5 days/ week. To take sole charge for 3 horses & 3 ponies. Ability to drive either trailer or HGV licence an advantage. Must be lightweight enough to ride ponies. Competitive salary. Looking to achieve your BHS qualifications? We currently have vacancies for working pupils/apprenticeships to work towards their BHS examinations. Established for over forty years, we are a British Horse Society approved training centre up to BHS intermediate level with examination status to BHS II. The applicant must have some prior experience with horses but does not necessarily need to have BHS Stage 1. They need to be hard working, reliable and a team player. We currently have vacancies for students to join our team to work and receive training on a busy BHS Riding School & Livery yard in London with a huge variety of horses and ponies. We train right up to BHSII level . You will receive at least 8 hours of training per week and students work a 5.5 day week including weekends. We are situated close to all the necessary amenities with major transport links into Central London and only 5 mins walk from Oakwood tube station. Generous allowance whilst training which increases with each qualification. Excellent facilities. Live in or out positions available.
