  • I came to this stable after being unhappy somewhere else and my experience in Germany was much improved. The hours were great and I got lots of opportunity to ride and learn for my entire stay, including getting my small bronze medal. I also got a lot of teaching experience and learned a lot more German. It was a very friendly and positive stable and a great place to be a working student. I got to explore lovely Hamburg as well as some great events/clinics and made some great friends. Now that I am back home in Australia with my own business as an instructor/rider I hope that some of my students will eventually get to go to Germany and have a great time like I did at Stall Wesenberg.

  • I was here for seven months as a working student had a great experience. My work was split between stable duties and the pony club, and I learned a lot during my time here. The hours at work were very manageable and I had a chance to go to events, from E level all the way up to a 4* one. I also had the opportunity to take the German Basis Pass. Getting to practice cross country so often during riding lessons was really exciting, and the horses I took lessons on were great. I was able to go for trail rides a lot and there are tons of trails to go on. The girls and the apartment I lived in were awesome. The girls in particular are so friendly and fun. Actually, that is what makes this place great, everyone is friendly, from the people who board their horses to the kids whose lessons you teach. Andrea, the boss, is someone anyone would be lucky to work for and a very fair employer. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to work with horses and learn more about them. I am happy I came here and definitely will come back to visit.
