    We are looking for an experienced BHSAI to join our team at a small BHS approved yard in the heart of the chilterns.

  • * Riding School Instructor *

    Instructor required for a popular family-run Riding school & Livery yard near Windsor, Berkshire. Applicant must be capable of teaching all standards of clients, as we have both adults and children learning to ride at our Riding school. We offer competitive wages along with single private accommodation - complete with en-suite, living and kitchen area (situated on-site therefore no travel costs) - included as part of the job.

We are looking for someone to help with the maintenance/farm hand jobs around the property including maintaining the fields and paddocks, assisting with the horses and usual duties on a stud farm. In addition we are looking for a trainee member of a very small team to assist with either the insemination centre or the stud's own horses. So a couple might suit. Must be confident around horses, with some experience. Most important is a cheerful positive attitude! Ideal opportunity for someone wishing to experience French culture and, learn the language whilst living in the Loire Valley, and working with top quality horses. Accommodation is provided, plus the main meal of the day, use of a car & a French lesson weekly. Expenses reimbursed. Also ideal for someone from NZ or Australia for their 1st visit to Europe.

The Facility

Leading Trakehner stud in France (owned by English) The property has an indoor stable yard and 23 ha. of land - in total about 20 horses. The young horses are well handled and prepared for work under saddle at three years old. We currently have an Australian rider who competes in young horse classes and dressage. The yard is managed similar to that of a professional yard in the UK with high standards. We run an Insemination Center, with a resident vet, during the breeding season - April to July. We offer an opportunity for you to work as a trainee, to learn some French, learn about the French culture and see the beautiful Loire Valley as well as work with quality horses!
