Hello! Welcome to YardandGroom.com, run and set up by me, Susi Northen and my husband, Rob (a programmer) in 2002 and based in Salisbury, England.

I decided to set up YardandGroom when I realised that because of family and home commitments my horse filled days were few and far between and was desperate to find a way of still keeping a foot in the door whilst riding every now and again! So, after having a good think and some research, I persuaded Rob to construct the site for me. We already had Sunny Au Pairs set up and I thought it might just work with yards and grooms as well. And that’s where the name came from! Short and simple, straight to the point!

We have had the most exciting time watching YardandGroom grow and have strived to make the site easy to navigate and user friendly and this, the latest version is our best so far!

Right from the start we had an amazing response and we are so grateful to everyone who has encouraged and supported us! Thanks! We have some truly wonderful testimonials from all over the world and I really have to pinch myself when I read them!
